Using a tool's output in an email
Generated output can be copied straight from the tool — the button confirms with Copied — and pasted into a campaign or template.
The useful pairings:
- Subject-line and copy generators → the Content step of the campaign builder.
- Content generators → a template you will reuse, rather than one campaign. See Create an email template.
Edit before you send
Generated copy is a starting point. It does not know your product's voice, your current offer, or what you said last week — and marketing email that reads as machine-written is the kind people unsubscribe from.
Read it once as a customer would. If it says nothing specific, it will not earn a click.
Then test it
Anything pasted in should be checked in a real inbox before it goes out, particularly if it brought formatting with it. See Send yourself a test email.
Merge tags are still yours to add
Generators write general copy. The personalisation is added afterwards with {{first_name}} — free, and more noticeable than a rewritten sentence. See Personalise an email with merge tags.
Keep the good ones
If a generated subject performs well, put the pattern into a template rather than regenerating from scratch every time. The tools are best at getting you started, not at replacing something you already know works.
Next: generate a few subject options, pick one, edit it in your own voice, then send yourself a test.
