Run a tool
Open Marketing Tools, pick a tool, fill in its inputs and run it.
The button reads Run Tool for checkers and Generate for generators, and changes to Running… while it works. Beside it, a pill shows what the run costs in credits, and your balance is shown on the page.
Filling in the inputs
Every tool has its own fields. Required ones must be filled before the run button becomes available — if it looks disabled, something required is empty.
Most tools want a domain or URL. Enter the exact page you care about: for page-level checks, the specific URL rather than your homepage, since results for example.com say nothing about example.com/products/blue-widget.
Before you run
The right-hand side reads Fill in the inputs and run the tool to see results here until there is something to show.
The cost is displayed before you run, never after, so a run is never a surprise. See What a tool run costs.
Running the same thing twice is free
Repeat runs with the same inputs are served from cache and not charged again, so there is no need to hoard a result out of fear of paying twice.
Coming from your audit
The quickest route into a tool is a failing factor in your marketing audit: Fix this with opens the right tool with your domain already filled in. That answers "which tool?" and "what do I put in it?" in one click. See Finding the right tool.
Next: press Ctrl+K, search for the tool you want, and check the cost pill before running.
