Free keyword research tool

One keyword tool, fifteen places people search

Type a seed keyword, pick a country, and get up to about 700 related keywords with monthly search volume, a twelve-month trend, CPC and competition. Then filter the list down to the words you can actually use and read the total volume of what is left.

The same tool runs on Google, YouTube, Bing, Amazon, Instagram, TikTok, Perplexity, eBay, Etsy, Pinterest, X, the App Store, the Play Store, Naver and Google Trends. Each platform has its own page, because each platform's suggestions come from its own search box.

Most keyword tools stop at Google. Your customers do not.

A shopper types into Amazon, a viewer types into YouTube, a buyer of handmade gifts types into Etsy, and a teenager types into TikTok. Each of those search boxes suggests different phrases, because each audience asks for things differently. A Google-only tool shows you one of those languages and hides the rest.

Brainito's keyword research tool asks each platform's own suggestion engine, then attaches the numbers that make a list useful: how many people search the phrase each month, whether that number is climbing or falling over the past year, what advertisers pay per click, and how crowded the term is. Where a platform does not publish a number, the page says so instead of inventing one.

What the free keyword research tool covers

Fifteen platforms in five groups. Every platform has its own page with its own seed box.

  • Search engines: Google, Bing, Perplexity, Google Trends

Google and Bing return suggestions with volume, trend, CPC and competition. Perplexity models AI search demand from Google data. Google Trends shows rising queries and relative interest rather than absolute volumes.

  • Video and social: YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, X, Pinterest

YouTube, TikTok and Pinterest return suggestions with volumes. Instagram shows hashtag post counts, which is what Instagram publishes. X returns the suggestion list itself, which is what X publishes.

  • Marketplaces: Amazon, eBay, Etsy

Shopper suggestions from each marketplace's own search box, with volume, trend and CPC where the platform provides them. Built for listing titles, bullets, tags and sponsored placements.

  • App stores and Naver

The App Store and Play Store for app titles, subtitles and descriptions, and Naver for the Korean market, locked to South Korea because that is where Naver operates.

  • Four numbers per keyword

Monthly search volume, a twelve-month trend, CPC in the selected country's currency and a competition figure, on every keyword where the platform publishes them. Sort by any column.

  • Include and exclude filters with totals

Type terms to keep and terms to drop. The table narrows as you type, and the header shows how many keywords remain and their combined monthly volume.

  • Automatic long-tail fetch

When an include term matches fewer than 20 keywords, one extra search for that term plus your seed runs on supported platforms. The filter shows what it will search and what it costs before anything runs.

  • Country selection and a 30-day cache

Choose from about fifty countries. The same seed in the same country within 30 days comes from the cache and is not charged again.

How to do keyword research here in four steps

  1. Pick the platform

Open the page for where your customers search. A product goes to Amazon, a tutorial goes to YouTube, a service goes to Google, a handmade item goes to Etsy.

  2. Type a seed and a country

Two or three words that describe the thing, not the whole phrase. The tool returns up to about 700 keywords built around that seed for the country you chose.

  3. Filter to the list you want

Add include terms for the angle you sell and exclude terms for brands, 'free', or 'near me'. Watch the total volume change as you refine.

  4. Act on the list

Use the top terms in titles, headings, listings or tags, and keep the long tail for supporting pages, bullets and video descriptions.

Start with the platform your customers use. The account is free.

A search is 5 credits. Plans start at $20 a month, or 100 credits for $5. Run the same seed again within 30 days and it comes from the cache at no charge.
