Add a sender profile

A sender profile is the "from" identity on your emails. Campaigns and automations both pick one, and a campaign cannot be created without one.

Add one

Open Senders. The page has two sections: Sending Domains at the top and Sender Profiles below it.

In Sender Profiles, click Add Sender and fill in:

• Display Name — the name recipients see, e.g. your brand name.
• From Email — the address the email is sent from.
• Reply-To (optional) — where replies go, if that differs from the from address. Useful when you send from news@ but want replies in a support inbox.

One profile is marked Default. That is the one pre-selected for new campaigns; you can always choose a different one per campaign.

Your from address has to be on a verified domain

This is the part that catches people out. You cannot send from an address on a domain we have not verified — a profile on an unverified domain will not be usable in a campaign.

So the order is:

1. Add and verify the domain in Sending Domains first.
2. Then add sender profiles on it.

Sending from your own domain rather than a shared one is strongly recommended: mail then authenticates as your brand, which is better for both trust and inbox placement.
