Connect Meta or Google Ads
Connecting an ad platform brings in lead-form submissions as contacts and ad performance data for reporting.
Connect
Open Connections in your workspace and click Connect on the platform you want. You approve access on the provider's own screen, then choose what to bring in:
- Meta shows a Choose what to connect step — pick the pages and lead forms you want.
- Google Ads shows a Choose ad accounts step — pick the accounts.
Both have a Back to connections link if you want to bail out mid-way.
You are picking deliberately rather than connecting everything, so if a page or ad account is missing from that list it usually means the account you authorised with does not have access to it.
Then set up routing
Leads do not go anywhere useful until you tell them where to go. Set up routing rules next — see Route ad leads into the right list.
What Brainito can do in your ad account
- Google Ads: reporting and lead forms only. Nothing is created or changed in your Google Ads account.
- Meta: besides reporting and leads, you can create, pause, resume and change the budget of campaigns from Paid Ads — only when you (or a teammate) choose to, and never above your workspace's daily spend cap. See Paid ads overview and The daily spend cap.
See What access a connection asks for.
Disconnecting
Available from the same Connections page. You are asked to confirm, because disconnecting stops the sync and, if you also remove the synced records, that includes captured leads and order history. Your contacts and email lists are not affected by a disconnect.
Next: open Connections, click Connect, then set up routing rules so arriving leads have somewhere to go.
