A connection isn't bringing anything in
Work down this list. The first three explain most cases and none of them are faults.
1. Has it had time?
Check Sync progress on the connection. Setting up and Waiting for first sync both mean it is working and has not finished — or has nothing yet to bring.
2. Is there anything to bring?
An ad connection with no recent lead-form submissions imports nothing, correctly. The Health & data panel shows a per-form Received count; if every form reads zero, the forms genuinely have no submissions.
If it says No lead forms on this account, nothing is broken — that account has no lead forms to read.
3. Are the leads arriving but going nowhere?
This is the most common real problem. Leads arrive, no routing rule matches, and they are filed nowhere visible.
Open Where new contacts go and check the rules. Send test lead proves the path end to end — see Route ad leads into the right list.
4. Did you connect the right things?
Meta and Google Ads both ask you to choose what to connect — pages and lead forms, or ad accounts. If the one you care about was not selected, its data never arrives. Use Add accounts on the connection to include more.
If a page or account is missing from that list entirely, the account you authorised with does not have access to it — that is a permissions question on the provider's side, not here.
5. Are contacts arriving without email addresses?
Check With email in Health & data. A form collecting only a name and phone number produces contacts you cannot email, and the raw count looks fine.
Still nothing
Note which of the five you have ruled out and contact support with that. It turns a vague report into a short investigation.
Next: open the connection and read Sync progress first — most reports stop there.
