Connecting Shopify brings your customers into Brainito as contacts and keeps them up to date, so your audiences stay current without manual exports.

Connect

Open Connections in your workspace and click Connect on the Shopify card. Enter your store domain, then approve access on Shopify's side.

Shopify handles the approval itself, so the permissions screen you see is Shopify's, not ours.

What happens next

Your customers begin syncing into Contacts, tagged with their source so you can tell store contacts apart from imported ones. From there they can be added to audiences and mailed like any other contact.

The connection stays live — it is a real-time sync rather than a one-off import, so new customers keep arriving after the initial load.

A store belongs to a workspace

Connections live inside a workspace, not on your account as a whole. If you manage several brands, connect each store in its own workspace, and check the workspace switcher before connecting so the store lands in the right place.

If you follow an old bookmark to a connections page and end up at a workspace picker, that is why — pick the workspace and you will land in the right place.

Disconnecting

You can disconnect at any time from the same Connections page. Contacts that have already synced stay in your account; they simply stop being updated.

Next: check the workspace switcher, then open Connections and click Connect on Shopify.
