The daily spend cap
The Daily spend cap is the highest daily budget anyone can set on a single campaign or ad set from Brainito. It sits above the campaigns list on every Paid Ads overview, for example Daily spend cap: 500.
It exists to catch typing mistakes, such as 5000 entered when 50.00 was meant. Ad platforms accept any number without asking, so the cap is the last check before real money is spent.
The default
Until someone sets a cap for the workspace, the default is 500 per day, in your ad account's currency. The card then reads (default — not set for this workspace).
What it applies to
- The Daily budget in Create a Meta ad campaign.
- Edit campaign and Edit ad set when you change a daily budget.
A budget above the cap is refused, not warned about. You see a message such as That daily budget is above this workspace's cap of 500. A workspace admin can raise the cap.
The cap does not change budgets already running in your ad account, and it does not limit total spend across campaigns. Budgets set directly in Meta or Google Ads are not checked.
Change it
Only a workspace owner or admin sees the Change button.
- Click Change on the cap card.
- Enter the new amount (greater than zero).
- Click Save.
Reset goes back to the default. Cancel closes without saving.
Everyone else sees the cap read-only, so they know the limit and who to ask. In a workspace managed by an agency, only the agency can change it.
Raising the cap does not change any budget by itself. It only allows higher budgets to be set from Brainito.
Next: if a budget change was refused, ask a workspace owner or admin to click Change on the cap, then try again.
