Send now, schedule for later, or save as a draft

The final step of the campaign builder, Review & Send, offers three different actions. Which buttons you see depends on what you did in step 1.

The three options

• Save as Draft — stores the campaign without sending. Always available. Use it when the copy is not finished or someone else needs to approve it.
• Send Now — starts sending immediately. This button appears only when you left Schedule empty in step 1.
• Schedule Campaign — queues the campaign for the date and time you chose. This button replaces Send Now as soon as you set a schedule.

So if you are expecting a Send Now button and seeing Schedule Campaign instead, you have a time set in step 1. Click Back twice to reach Details and clear the Schedule field.

Changing your mind later

A draft can be opened and edited freely — nothing is queued until you schedule or send it.

A scheduled campaign is different. Editing a scheduled campaign takes it off the schedule. After saving your changes you have to schedule it again, or it will simply sit there and never send. If you edit a campaign that was due to go out tonight, check its status afterwards.

Sending is not instant

"Send Now" means sending starts now, not that every message lands at once. A large audience is delivered at a steady pace to protect your sending reputation. The Senders page shows a Recommended sending pace for your account, which is guidance rather than a hard limit.

Next: on Review & Send, pick Save as Draft if anything is still unsettled — a draft costs nothing and can be sent at any time.
