What each campaign status means
The Campaigns table shows a Status for every campaign. Here is what each one means and what, if anything, you need to do.
Draft
Saved but not queued. Nothing will send until you schedule it or send it. Edit freely.
Scheduled
Queued for a future date and time. It will send on its own.
Careful: editing a scheduled campaign takes it off the schedule. After saving changes you must schedule it again. The edit dialog says so — "Leave empty to keep it a draft. Changing this reschedules the send."
Queued
Accepted and waiting its turn to start. Normal, and usually brief.
Sending
In progress. Large audiences are delivered at a steady pace rather than all at once, so this state can last a while on a big list. That is deliberate — pacing protects your sending reputation.
Sent / Completed
Finished. The Sent / Opened column shows how it performed.
Paused
Sending stopped part-way and will not resume by itself. This one always has a reason attached — see Why is my campaign paused?.
Failed
The campaign could not be sent. Unlike Paused, this is not a "fix-and-resume" state; check the campaign and, in most cases, create a new one.
Cancelled
You stopped it. No further sending happens.
Next: open Campaigns and check the Status column — anything reading Paused needs a decision from you.
