Review and approve social posts
There are three ways to get a second opinion on social posts: send them to a teammate, share a link with a client, or require approval before anything publishes.
Send planned posts to a teammate
Open a planned post on the calendar and, under Review and publish, click Send for review. To send several, tick them on the calendar and use the button in the bar that appears, for example Send 3 for review. Pick the teammate, add an optional note, and click Send.
Your teammate gets one task per post on the Action Board, plus a notification. When they move a task to Done, that post shows as approved. Their comments come back to the post as feedback.
On the post itself you'll see Waiting for review until they answer. You can also Approve it yourself, Add feedback, or follow Open the task to the Action Board. An approved post can be reopened with Reopen.
If it says No one else can review yet, invite a teammate from Settings. People with view-only access can't be picked.
In Comments, anyone in the workspace can comment. Comment and put under revision marks the post Under revision so everyone knows it needs changes.
Share a link with a client
In a saved calendar, click Share for review in the bar above the month, then Create link and Copy. Anyone with the link sees the designed posts for that calendar and can approve them or ask for changes. No login needed. You get a notification for every answer.
Once a link exists, the button reads Client review link. From there:
- New link (old one stops working): use this if the link went to the wrong person.
- Turn off: no one can use the link any more.
Require approval before publishing
When your workspace requires approval, the composer's main button reads Submit for approval, and the calendar's bar reads, for example, Submit 3 for approval. Nothing goes out until someone approves it.
Approvers find these posts near the top of the Posts tab and click Approve or Request changes. Request changes asks what needs changing; the author sees that note on the post, and the calendar marks it Needs attention. Open it, edit it, and submit it again.
Next: for client work, create the review link as soon as a calendar is designed, so feedback arrives before posts are due.
