Which plans include email marketing
Every account includes email marketing — with or without a monthly plan. There is no separate email plan any more: sending is paid in credits from the same balance as everything else.
What it costs
- 25 credits per 1,000 emails — campaigns, automation emails, API sends and test sends. Charged hourly, as one charge per hour for the emails sent in it.
- Contacts are free and unlimited. So are segments, automations, templates and the media library — you pay for emails sent, not for the size of your list.
What that covers
- Campaigns
- Multi-step automations
- Dynamic segments
- Templates
- Media library
- Suppression handling
What a bigger plan changes
Not access — capacity and extras:
- A higher daily email safety cap — 2,500 a day without a plan or on Starter, then 10,000, 25,000, 75,000 and 250,000. See Your sending limits and usage.
- More credits every month, at a better rate.
- A dedicated sending IP on Business and Scale.
SMS and WhatsApp
Available from the Growth plan up. Messages are not paid in credits: each one is charged from a separate messaging balance in the workspace, priced by country.
If you had an email plan before
The old email plans (Free, Launch, Starter, Growth, Pro, Scale and Scale Plus) are no longer sold. If you are still on one, it keeps covering your sending until it renews; after that, sending uses your credits. Enterprise contracts, invoiced per 1,000 emails, are unchanged. If you installed the Shopify app, your plan is billed through Shopify.
Nothing you have set up is lost in the move — contacts, audiences, templates and automations stay where they are.
