Organise and reuse templates
The Templates page lists your saved designs — save reusable email designs — with Edit and Preview on each, and folders for keeping them tidy.
Editing an existing template
Edit reopens it. Changes apply to campaigns that use it from then on; emails already sent are unaffected, and a campaign that has already gone out keeps the content it was sent with.
That is the right behaviour but worth knowing before editing a template a scheduled campaign depends on — the schedule will pick up your changes.
Folders
Same folder behaviour as Audiences and Media: a bar across the top, All showing everything, and empty folders saying so. Useful groupings are by purpose — newsletters, promotions, transactional-style layouts — or an archive for designs you have replaced but do not want to lose.
See Organise audiences into folders; it works identically.
Build one good base template
The pattern that saves the most time: make one template with your header, footer, colours and unsubscribe wording right, then duplicate it for each campaign type rather than starting from a layout each time.
Your footer and sender details are the parts most often wrong on a rushed campaign, and a base template fixes them once.
Deleting
Removes the design. Campaigns already sent are unaffected — they keep their own copy of what went out. Check no scheduled campaign is relying on it first.
Next: open Templates and check whether your most-used design is worth promoting into a base template.
