Design a template in the builder
The visual builder assembles an email from blocks, so you get email-safe HTML without writing any.
The layout
- Blocks panel on the left, split into Content and Layout.
- The canvas in the middle — click any block to select it, or click straight into text to edit it in place.
- The Inspector on the right, showing the selected block's settings.
Your work saves as you go; the header shows Saved.
Start from a layout
A new design offers Start from a layout — a pre-arranged structure you then fill in. Faster than an empty canvas, and the spacing is already sensible.
The blocks
Content
- Heading — with a Level of H1, H2 or H3.
- Text — paragraph copy.
- Image — see Images in emails.
- Button — a call to action with its own Label and link.
- Social — links to your social profiles.
- HTML — raw markup, for anything the other blocks cannot express.
Layout
- Divider — a rule, which can be solid, Dashed or Dotted.
- Spacer — vertical space.
Styling
The Inspector covers Font, Size, Weight, Line height, Text colour, Align, Padding and Background for the selected block.
Two habits that pay off:
- Set padding rather than stacking spacers. It behaves more predictably across mail clients.
- Keep to two fonts at most. The font list is deliberately limited to Arial, Helvetica, Georgia, Times New Roman, Verdana, Tahoma and Courier New, because those are the ones that render reliably everywhere. A font your recipient does not have gets substituted, and your layout shifts.
Preview and test
Preview shows the rendered email with merge tags filled in. That is not the same as seeing it in a real inbox — use Send a test before you rely on it.
