Read your marketing plan
A finished plan has four sections, top to bottom: About Product, Market Research, Marketing Plan and Budget. Click any row marked Done to expand it.
About Product
This section has a short summary of the business, followed by Details you provided: exactly what you confirmed. Check here first if something in the plan looks off. The plan can only be as accurate as these details.
Market Research
The evidence behind the plan, in six rows:
- User Need Analysis — the core problem your customers have, what they've tried, and what they still want.
- Market Demand Analysis — real search volume for what your customers look for, and where they look.
- Demographics & Market Size — who buys from you and how large that audience is.
- Competitor Analysis — how you compare with the businesses you're actually competing with. Naming competitors in your details makes this sharper.
- Customer Journey — how someone goes from first hearing about you to becoming a customer.
- Product-Market Fit — what the market wants, what you offer, and the gaps between them.
If a row has nothing to report, it says so. For example: "No keyword demand data was available for this business."
Marketing Plan
These are the steps to take, in order. Each step has a title and a summary. Expand a step to see its category and timeline. The steps are written for your business from the research above, so the number and kind of steps differ from plan to plan.
Budget
Budget Allocation & Simulation spreads your monthly ad budget across the channels over 12 months. It shows:
- Total cost, Ad budget, Expected leads and Cost per lead.
- Milestones for different stretches of months, each listing the channels and their monthly spend.
Treat these figures as planning estimates, not guarantees.
Turning the plan into tasks
The plan page has no button to send steps to the Action Board. Add the steps you want to work on yourself. See Create and assign a task. The audit's Action Plan is different: it has Add to Action Board on each fix.
Sharing it
Everyone in your workspace can open the plan from Marketing Plan → Recent. Send teammates there. Viewers can read it too.
