Create a marketing plan

Open Marketing Plan, answer the questions, then click Confirm details are correct. Once the details are confirmed, Generate Plan appears. To start another plan later, open the menu at the top right and choose New plan.

The questions

You have to fill in the fields marked required below before you can confirm. The form itself doesn't mark them.

• Your website link (required) — e.g. https://example.com. If you've audited this site, the plan uses that audit.
• Products or services you want to promote (required) — one or two sentences on what you sell and who it's for.
• Your top 3 competitors — websites or brand names. This is optional, but it makes the plan sharper.
• Country you are targeting (required) — separate several with commas.
• Cities — optional, separated with commas.
• Your marketing goal (required) — Get more leads, Increase online sales, Grow brand awareness, Drive traffic to my website, Promote a new product or service, or Other, where you describe your own goal.
• Monthly ad budget (required) — in dollars per month, more than zero. The Budget section is built around this number.
• Any suggestions? — anything to keep in mind, like channels you've tried, offers or timing.

If something required is missing, the form says "Please fill in:" and lists the missing fields.

Save draft or confirm

• Save draft keeps your answers without locking them. Drafts show as Draft in the plan menu.
• Confirm details are correct locks them in. The page shows Details confirmed with a summary and the Generate Plan button (100 credits). The plan shows as Confirmed in the menu.

Changing the details later

Click Edit on the confirmed summary, or Edit details on the plan itself, and change what you need. Then confirm again.

More than one plan

Each plan is separate, with its own details and its own generated report. Use New plan for a different website or product, and pick earlier ones from Recent. Every plan you start is shared with the rest of the workspace.
