Email Marketing Pricing

Email marketing pricing, explained by what you are actually charged for

Most email tools price on the contacts you store, in tiers that step up as the list grows, with seats, automation, a dedicated IP and SMS sold on top. Brainito prices on the emails you send: 25 credits per 1,000, contacts free, plans from $20 a month, cancel any time. This page goes through every line a price can scale on, and the FAQs carry the competitor figures with the date they were checked.

Your Brainito cost

Estimated cost $20 a month, Starter plan$5$500

20,000 emails is 500 credits at 25 per 1,000. Starter adds 600 credits a month; the rest pays for audits, SEO and the tools.

The same list elsewhere

Published prices at the 10,000-contact tier, the smallest each vendor lists that covers 5,000 contacts.

  • BrevoStarter, at 100K emails$69/mo
  • MailchimpStandard, not published at this size$135/mo
  • KlaviyoEmail, not published at this size$150/mo

Brainito at the same volume: $20/mo, starter plan.

Competitor figures are published list prices, verified September 2026, at the nearest published tier rather than your exact count. Some are annual-billing or calculated rates, marked on the row. Check the vendor’s own calculator before you switch.

5,000 contacts emailed four times a month is 20,000 emails, which is 500 credits. The $20 plan covers it with 100 credits left for other work. Plans from $20 a month, cancel any time, or 100 credits for $5.

The eight lines a price scales on

Read any email tool's pricing page against this list. The headline price is set by the first line; the bill is set by the other seven.

  • Per contact or per email

A per-contact price charges for everyone on the list every month, including the people you never email. A per-email price charges for what goes out. Brainito is 25 credits per 1,000 emails sent, and holding contacts costs nothing, so a list that doubles costs nothing until you email it.

  • Seats

Many tools include one to three users and charge per extra seat or move you up a tier for more. Brainito includes 5 seats on the $20 plan, 15 on $50, 50 on $100 and 100 on $500, with no per-seat fee.

  • Automation gating

The common pattern is a single welcome email on the free tier, a few steps on the entry tier, and the full builder with branches higher up. Here every one of the 11 flows and every node type is open on every account, and an automated email costs the same 25 credits per 1,000 as a campaign.

  • Dedicated IP

Sold as a monthly add-on or reserved for enterprise tiers elsewhere. Brainito includes a dedicated sending IP on the $500 plan, and nobody under that volume needs one: authenticated sending from your verified domain and guided warm-up do the work.

  • SMS add-on

SMS is usually a second plan with its own credit tiers and sometimes its own list. Here it is included from the $50 plan, on the same contacts and consent records, paid in credits per message with the exact cost shown before you confirm. WhatsApp works the same way.

  • Free tier shape

Free tiers are shaped by a contact cap and a send cap, often with a shared sending domain and the vendor's badge in the footer. Starting from this page gives you 50 free credits, about 2,000 emails, with unlimited contacts, your own domain and every module open. Only credits are metered.

  • Annual lock-in

The price on many pricing pages is the annual rate, with monthly billing costing more and a year paid up front. Brainito plans are monthly, you cancel any time from the billing page, and credits you already hold never expire.

  • Overage

Cross a contact tier elsewhere and the account is moved up or charged an overage. Run out of credits here and nothing is skipped: a campaign asks you to add credits, a flow email waits until they arrive, and 100 credits cost $5 with no plan change.

Work out your own price in three steps

  1. Count the emails, not the contacts

Take your list size and multiply by the sends a month each person gets. A monthly newsletter is one, a weekly one is four, and a welcome series adds about three per new contact. That total is the only number that sets the price here.

  2. Multiply by 25 per 1,000 and pick the plan

20,000 emails is 500 credits, so the $20 plan with 600 credits covers it. 40,000 is 1,000 credits, which fits the $50 plan with 1,600. 100,000 is 2,500 credits, which fits the $100 plan with 3,400. Anything left over pays for SEO, the site builder and audits, and never expires.

  3. Add only what you actually need

SMS and WhatsApp come with the $50 plan and above. A client workspace comes with the $100 plan, five with the $500 plan, which also adds a dedicated IP and a success manager. Nothing else is sold separately, and nothing is locked to a year.
