How other features use your Brand Kit

Your Brand Kit feeds the website builder, social content and email designs, so they look and sound like you without retyping anything. If the workspace has more than one kit, mark the one to use with Make Main.

The Main kit

Open the kit and click Make Main at the top. It changes to Main kit with a star, and a message confirms "This is now the Main kit". From then on it is listed first in the website builder's Brand kit menu, and social content under Social Media uses it first.

Click Main kit again to unmark it. Only finished kits can be made Main.

Agencies and businesses with several sites can hold a kit per site; the Main kit is the one used when there is a choice for the same site.

Building a website from a kit

On the kit, Brand at a glance has Build a website with this kit. It opens the website builder with that kit already chosen, so the site uses the kit's name, colours, fonts, logo and tone, and the form fills in from it.

You can also pick any kit from the Brand kit menu when you start a new website — see Build a new website. Choosing No brand kit there means the builder designs from your brief alone.

Social content

Social content under Marketing Manager → Social Media uses the kit for the same website — the Main kit if it is for that site, otherwise the newest finished one.

Email designs

When you design an email for a website, the workspace's kit for that site supplies the logo, colours, fonts, name and pitch. A kit made for a different site is never used.

Keeping them in step

The other features read the kit as it is when they run. Edits you make now apply to the next website, post or email; things already made are not changed. For a site already built, ask the website chat for the change — e.g. "Use our new accent colour".
