What the Action Board is and where to find it
The Action Board is your workspace's shared task list. Open Marketing Manager → Action Board in the sidebar. Every workspace has one board, it is free on every plan, and everyone in the workspace sees the same tasks.
Two ways to look at it
Switch between the two buttons at the top right:
- List — a table with Task, Status, Assignees, Assigned by, Due date and Activity columns. Tasks are grouped by due month to begin with; change that with Group. Only the List view lets you tick several tasks and change them together.
- Board — one column per status: To Do, In Progress, Review and Done. Drag a card to another column to move it.
Click any task to open its side panel. That's where assignees, due date, priority, category, notes, attachments, subtasks, review notes, History and Comments live.
Quick views
The tabs above the toolbar answer the common questions in one click: All tasks, My tasks, Assigned by me, Ready for review, Overdue, Due this week, Unassigned and Completed. Each shows a count. See Filter, group and export tasks.
Everything assigned to you, in every workspace
The My tasks button at the top opens a separate page that collects tasks assigned to you across all your workspaces. It sorts them into Overdue, Today, This week, Later, No due date and Recently done. Use it if you work in more than one workspace.
Who can do what
- Owners, admins and members can add tasks, comment and move work along.
- Viewers can see the board but can't change it or comment, and tasks can't be assigned to them.
- Once a task is assigned, only its creator, its assignees and workspace owners and admins can change it. Everyone else can still read it.
Tasks that arrive from elsewhere
Some pages can add tasks for you. Add to Action Board appears on the audit's Action Plan and on recommendations in Reports. A review task for a social post opens the post itself, not a task panel.
Next: Create and assign a task.
