Starting point

Where we started

The business

Sneakky Klean cleans and restores sneakers. It has stores in New York, Brooklyn, Miami and Sawgrass Mills in Florida, a location in Saskatoon, and a nationwide mail-in service.

Brainito has run its marketing and website since March 2026. This case study covers March to October 2026: eight months of work, still ongoing.

The challenge

In March 2026 the business ran on a site built around a third-party booking tool. It had a small Klaviyo list with basic flows, no consistent search traffic, no paid media structure, and new stores were opening one by one.

When the new site was indexed on 12 June 2026, Search Console showed close to zero clicks a day. Sneakky Klean needed a website that could take bookings and payments for every store, a search presence for high-intent queries like "sneaker cleaning near me", and marketing channels that could run week after week without a big team.

Month by month

What we did, in order

We worked month by month, fixing the foundation first and adding channels as the stores came online.

Audit, messaging and the first funnel

    • Audited the existing flows and wrote email, SMS and WhatsApp content for every stage of the customer journey.
    • Built a new-lead welcome flow and 5 HTML email templates.

    • Delivered a full-funnel marketing plan the team could run.
  2. April 2026

    • The top-of-funnel flow went live.
  3. May 2026

Market analysis and a new site structure

    • Market demand analysis and action plan; Google Business Profiles optimized for New York and Miami.
    • Website audit and UX report.
    • A 30-plus page site structure designed and developed: services hub with 23 service pages, locations, Klean Club, shop, blog, franchise and help.
  4. June 2026

    New website live

    • New website front end built and launched on 12 June; old URLs redirected.
    • CleanCloud, the store point of sale, connected to the site and to Klaviyo.

Today

What runs now

Website and bookings
A 30-plus page website with booking and Stripe payments for all five stores and the mail-in service, an admin CRM with Sales by Store and Sales by Channel reporting, and email, SMS and transactional messages on Brainito. New York and Miami are the two largest stores by sales, followed by Brooklyn, Sawgrass Mills and Saskatoon.
Organic search
Google clicks per month went from about 340 in July to 1,342 in September, roughly 4x, and October is on the same pace. Across six months the site reached an average position of 8 for its queries. Top queries now include "shoe cleaner near me", "sneaker cleaning near me" and "sneaker cleaning service" alongside the brand name.
Where revenue comes from
In the 30 days to 13 October 2026, Google Search was the largest channel at about 58 percent of online revenue. Brainito email contributed a further share from newsletters and automations.
Paid media
In July the NYC Performance Max campaign brought conversions at $10.34 each, and the Meta New York lead campaign brought leads at $3.26 each. In August, Google Ads conversion campaigns returned 2.46x ROAS at $26.35 per order. Paid media runs across Google and Meta in every store market.
Email and SMS
In September 2026, 116,926 emails were sent on Brainito (112,840 campaign, 4,086 automation) at a 27.1 percent open rate and 6.6 percent click rate. The 18 July weekly newsletter opened at 17.8 percent with a 5.45 percent click rate. Abandoned cart SMS and booking confirmations run from the same workspace.
Content and PR
20 guest blogs published in August and September, 96 city mail-in pages indexed, and a PR article in progress.

Figures come from Brainito's monthly reports to Sneakky Klean, Google Search Console and the Brainito admin, current to 13 October 2026. Revenue is shown as channel share, not amounts.
