GitHub

The site Brainito builds lives in your GitHub

Install the Brainito GitHub app on your account or organisation. When you set a site to your own hosting, Brainito creates a private repository there and pushes every saved version as a commit. Hand it to a developer, host it anywhere, or keep editing in Brainito; the repository stays current.

What the app does

A repository per site

Private by default, named after the site, created in the account or organisation you installed on.

Every version, one commit

Each saved version in Brainito is pushed as a commit with its message; nothing is lost between tools.

Push before publish

Publishing pushes the version first, so what is deployed is what is in Git.

Linked to Vercel

When your Vercel is connected too, the project is linked to the repository.

Only what it needs

Repository contents and administration for creating the repo; uninstall any time from GitHub.

Personal or organisation

Works for a personal account and for an organisation with the right permissions.

Set up once

1

Install the app

Under Integrations, choose GitHub and pick the account or organisation.

2

Choose it for a site

In the site's Domain and hosting panel, pick the GitHub account. The repository is created and the current version pushed.

3

Keep working

Every later version is pushed; Push now is there if you want to be sure.

A website you can take with you.

Build it in Brainito, keep it in GitHub.
