Workspaces

A workspace is a self-contained tenant. Its own contacts, audiences, senders, campaigns, automations and connections — none of it shared with any other workspace.

That is what lets one login manage several brands, or an agency manage several clients, without data mixing.

Switching

Use the workspace switcher in the dashboard. The workspace you are in is part of the page address, so each browser tab can sit in a different workspace independently — useful when comparing two clients, and safe, because one tab cannot change another's.

Why this catches people out

Almost everything you create belongs to the workspace you were in at the time:

  • Connect a store and it belongs to that workspace.
  • Import contacts and they land in that workspace.
  • Add a sender or verify a domain and it is available to that workspace.

So "my contacts have disappeared" is very often "I am in a different workspace than the one I imported them into". Check the switcher first — it is the single most common explanation.

If you land on a workspace picker

Some links are not workspace-specific, so following one shows a picker rather than guessing which workspace you meant. Choose one and you continue to the right page. See Where to find Connections.

Before creating anything

Glance at the switcher. Moving a store connection or a contact import to a different workspace afterwards is far more work than being in the right place to begin with.

Next: check the workspace switcher, then look for your missing contacts or connection there.
